Hi mums

Im so worried now as mam bottles that we have been using for the last 7 weeks were letting tap water in when i was cooling the bottles! As soon as we noticed we changed to tomme tippee bottles. But now im worried sick as in whether that tap water that may have got into bottles made any harm to my baby.... he is not poorly but he is on similac formula due to cow milk alergy. Also he has been throwing up after feeds but it doesnt seem to bother him since birth. He is almost 8 weeks now. Please can somrone put my mind at ease? Xxx

No advice really but all il say is dont stress about it, you realised and you changed bottles so youve done what you can to prevent it happening. I'm sure your little one will be fine, just keep an eye out for stomach upset xx

I wouldn't worry too much Hun just keep an eye out. Would have most Likely only been a little bit and our Tap water is very clean, formula powder is more of a risk than unboiled tap water x

Is that the anti colic bottles? We've used them from birth and always cooled them in tap water, I didn't even think they might let water in, my little boy is fine anyway! X

Hi, yes it is Mam anti colic bottles. Apparently you are supposed to cool them with the lid open! It would have come in handy if they warned people. Anyway my baby had tummy pains and now when we switched to different bottles he is much more settled.. so i still think it must have been the tap water that got in the bottles. Im glad your little man is ok xxx
