- 10 Mins
-
4 digestive biscuits, crushed
-
6 strawberries, sliced
-
2 bananas (or 3 bananas depending on the size), sliced
-
250g mascarpone cheese
-
300ml crème fraîche
-
chocolate (melted - to decorate)
-
Crush the biscuits and squash them into your ramekins
-
Cover the biscuits with a layer of strawberries, then layer with the sliced bananas
-
Mix the mascarpone and crème fraîche together and cover the bananas
-
Drizzle some melted chocolate over the top and then place in a fridge for an hour or until ready to serve
You will need
4x ramekins - if you don't have ramekins you can make this in one large dish
Tips
You can use chocolate sauce on top instead of melted chocolate if you prefer
Variations
Although strawberries and bananas are a very tasty combination you can use whatever soft fruit you have handy - blackberries, kiwi fruit, grapes
Cherries & blueberries are a great combo
You can even use tinned fruit
You could make the base less crumbly by mixing the biscuit crumbs with some melted butter (50g) before squashing them in a baking tin

★★★☆☆ Rated 3 out of 5 stars.I made these for the parents at our son's third birthday recently . They went down very well ! Perhaps a little bit too posh for the kids though.
