A really simple apple tart recipe...

shortcrust pastry (shop bought or homemade)
3 golden delicious apples
2 tsp sugar
Line a 20cm loose based tart tin with a shortcrust pastry and bake it
Peel, core and thinly slice 3 golden delicious apples and arrange them in the base of the tart
Sprinkle with 1-2 tsp of caster sugar and some ground cinnamon
Bake at 180'C/350'F/Gas mark 4 for 15-20 minutes

Very dry, I don't get it where is the syrup// sauce?! Just apples, sugar and cinnamon on pastry is not a normal tart!!

I'm going to try this recipe for Halloween this year it's so straightforward - we've now three kids under 4 so i'll not be making as something as complicated as this apple, rhubarb and cognac affair i made last year!!
