Variations
These baked apple slices make a delicious snack on their own, and are perfect for baby-led weaning. But they can also make a fab ingredient for quick last-minute desserts. Try serving:
- simply with cream or ice-cream as a tasty, fruity pudding - on top of Americ an pancakes, with a drizzle of maple syrup - with a quick crispy toppi ng for an easy apple crumble
You can mix the fruit up, too! This recipe works brilliantly with pears, peaches and/or plums.
