The mum of 5 has taken her family on a trip to Abu Dhabi, with plenty of recommendations from followers on what she should do while there … and she's taken her dad, too

Stacey Solomon has jetted off on a family holiday to Abu Dhabi and we couldn't be more jealous.

In their first holiday since the birth of daughter Belle , 7 weeks, Stacey, 33, husband Joe Swash, 41, and their children, Rex, 3, Rose, 1, and Stacey's older children, Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 10, all escaped the British springtime for a luxurious holiday abroad instead.

And the TV presenter has been posting about it along the way – with valuable tips for families hoping to make the same trip themselves.

Revealing that she wanted to soak up every bit of quality time with her family while away, Stacey's been sharing images of the holiday while her kids are asleep.

Taking to Insta to share some snaps of her trip abroad, Stacey called the holiday 'magical' and revealed that the family had already spent time at the beach, watched the sunset and been to a Warner Bros theme park.

Matching outfits

In her latest post, where the mum of 5 shared some photos of her, Rose and Belle wearing matching dresses and Rex matching his dad in a white polo shirt and chino shorts, Stacey revealed that there was no place like it.

She wrote:

'🤍 Magical Sunsets With You 🤍 🥲 Here’s Our day in pictures 🥹 There’s is absolutely no filter on those sunsets. It was just magical 🥲.'

She then revealed ALL on their trip to Warner Bros World, joking that Rose had to cuddle every character she could find and that the boys had enjoyed visiting Gotham City.

Stacey added:

'Today we went to a theme park called Warner Bros world they LOVED it. Rose didn’t go on any rides but she cuddled every character she could find and the boys ran around Gotham city for hours 😂'

But that's not all. Later that day, the whole family managed to enjoy the beautiful sunset, with Stacey adding how 'grateful' she was to be spending time away as a family.

She revealed:

'And then we watched the sunset before heading for dinner. 🥲 So grateful for these days away… hope you’ve had a lovely Sunday lots of love from us 🤍🙏🏼'

Stacey revealed more on the trip to Warner Bros World on her Insta stories, sharing a sweet video of Rose running up to Daffy Duck for a hug, while a more cautious Rex had to be coaxed to meet the character.

Stacey then added that Rose was obsessed with all the characters, joking that 'poor Bugs Bunny couldn't peel her off'.

Taking Grangrad along

In another story, she revealed that she and Joe had taken her dad along for the trip too – for the extra help.

'Grangrad is here with us too,' Stacey added. 'Because he helps us so much at home we thought he deserved a break too (or at least that's how I sold it to him).

'But really it's because we need him more than ever abroad.'

Rose's starfish encounter

And in other Insta stories, Stacey revealed they'd watched the 'beautiful red sun fall out of the sky' while sharing yet more photos and videos of Abu Dhabi's sunset.

She also shared Rose's encounter with a starfish which she captioned:

'Rose found a starfish and her face says it all.'

All the details

While Stacey promised to share details of where exactly she's been staying once she returns to the UK, she's already shared some valuable info with families – and we know where we want to go for our next holiday.

Revealing that she'd taken advice from her followers on where exactly she should go and what she should do while on holiday, Stacey added that she'd needed the expert help of a travel agent to make the actual plans because she was still in the 'newborn fuzz' and found planning the trip 'overwhelming'.

Special memories

Just a day earlier, Stacey shared another Insta post of the family's very first adventure together, including Rose and Belle's 1st plane ride and the cutest photo of Rex in the pilot's cockpit.

Adding that she was excited to make some special memories, Stacey also thanked Etihad Airways for their smooth journey.

She wrote:

'✈️ Here We Go ✈️ Off on our very first adventure together… Rose & Belles first plane ride and ours as a family since before covid when Rex was a few months old 🥹

'We are all so excited to make some special memories. I think I was most nervous about the journey there but we’ve made it safe & sound and still sane 😂🤍

'A massive thank you to the lovely passengers who were so chatty & sweet to us & the kids and also thank you to kindest air stewards who played with Rex & Rose so nicely & made them feel so comfortable

'@etihad you have the most amazing staff and captain Rexy can’t wait to fly us home 🥲🤍'
