You've got have less than a WEEK to use your points ... or you could lose them, customers have been warned

We're all being extra careful with our cash at the moment.

But many of us could be set to waste a load of money-saving vouchers that we've earned ... without even realising it.

Tesco has issued an urgent warning to Clubcard holders, telling shoppers to check their points. And you'll need to do it quickly: a massive £16 million worth of Clubcard vouchers are due to expire at the end of February 2023.

That means you've got less than a week to use them – or you could lose them, for good!

Which Clubcard vouchers are due to expire?

The vouchers, which were first issued in February 2021, will expire on 28 February 2023.

Tesco Loyalty Director, Tash Whitmey, said: 'We want to help customers’ household budgets stretch further right now and Clubcard is the best way to get great value with Tesco – from Clubcard Rewards to thousands of exclusive deals through Clubcard Prices.

'With more than £16m worth of Clubcard vouchers due to expire at the end of February, we’re reminding customers to spend them in what can be a tough time of year, as family budgets feel the new year strain.'

How do I check if I'm affected?

Log in to your Tesco Clubcard account to check the expiry dates of your points.

You've got until the end of February to spend them.

What can I use my Clubcard vouchers for?

You can use your Clubcard vouchers to bring down the cost of your weekly shop, or fuse them for filling up your car.

Another popular option is turning the points into vouchers to spend at amusement parks like Legoland, family-friendly restaurants and hotels.

How much are Tesco Clubcard points worth?

If you spend them in-store, 1 Clubcard point = 1p.

If you want to turn your Clubcard points into vouchers, they're worth 3x the value. For example, 50p becomes £1.50 to spend at attractions across the UK.

If you se your vouchers for your weekly shop, then 150 points gets you £1.50 to spend.
