Ariana is seeing a massive rise in popularity due to the success of the Thank U, Next singer Ariana Grande, according to Bloom & Wild florist (whose predictions we totally agree with).

Well over 2,000 babies were named Poppy in 2018 and we can't see it falling out of favour anytime soon.

The next pretty name is Lily, or Lilly, after the delicate white flower.

The lily flower is associated with purity and innocence, and the name has impressively stayed in the top 50 girls' names since the turn of the century.

The popularity of this botanical name could have something to do with Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith's daughter, Willow, who released her first song a year before this name became particularly popular.

But, the 'magical' properties of the Willow tree are more likely to inspire new parents.
